With time ticking on we sail from Camden Harbour to Prudhoe Islands in Montague Sound visiting Hanover Bay, Careening Bay and Bigge Island along the way. We find fresh water in Hanover Bay and visit the Mermaid tree in Careening Bay. On the long sail to Bigge Island we hit 25 knot winds against time and some rough seas for around 6 hours. Impressive rock art is found at Wary bay and we are given a bag of banana prawns but a friendly prawn trawler crew. We finally head for Prudhoe Islands for a peaceful night in shelter bay enjoying a meal of fresh fish and barbequed prawns.

In this episode, I join as crew to help deliver a Santa Cruz 52 sailboat from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, to San Diego California. We motor sail over 1000 nautical miles against wind, waves, and current over the course of 9 days. We begin our adventure at Puerto Vallarta with planned stops at Cabo San Lucas and Bahia Tortugas to top up on diesel and provisions. After waiting several weeks, I finally undergo surgery and this is a look inside how I got a full hip replacement. From the day before I go in to the hospital to the actual surgery. And the five days at the hospital for recovery. I interview my surgeon, Dr Kägi who explains what had to be done. And within a few hours I am walking. Beneteau Oceanis sailboats stand for predictable mass-market characteristics. You can find them for charter in almost any European port. This Beneteau Ozeanis 41 from 2014 (as opposed to the newer Beneteau Oceanis 41.1 starting in 2015) is a safe choice when you want to spend some time on the water. The compromises made are usually for usability. For example the Beneteau arch keeps the cockpit clear of lines and protected from the elements.
