Faith Academy Manila is an international school on the outskirts of Manila. After the tour we took the kids to some amazing Manila shopping malls. They loved the indoor playgrounds and dancing in Starbucks. Finally we ended the day at my parents apartment in Manila. GoPro does not provide nautical measures. Solution: Here I synchronized GPS- data from my Polar M400 (any device that reads out .gps or .fit files can be used) and the video footage from my GoPro. For best results in synchronizing make sure you make a distinct manoeuvre at the very beginning of your sailing session (i.e. a jibe (as here) or a tack). The result is perfect for my needs. There are many helpful tutorials on how to do this on youtube. 2:07 First jibe used for data synchronization (video/ gps). 4:45 Second jibe to confirm correct data synchronization (video/ gps).

Es ist alles wieder so schnell vorbei, aber am wichtigsten is mir die Erkenntnis, dass der weite Blick und eine tiefe Gelassenheit in Momenten, wenn's drauf ankommt, den Unterschied zwischen Schönheit und Desaster ausmachen kann.

We decided to get off the boat for our recipe this week! We don’t have a car here- totally wish we did so that we could more easily explore the inland areas of Grenada. For now, we jump along the coast from bay to bay via dinghy…we thought it would be fun to show you a behind the scenes look at how we get around on the daily. We love our little dingy and getting around this way is fun- it makes us quite happy! Beats traffic and the subway, for sure. Hog island is a very small island that sits vacant aside from Roger's rum shack and the veggie stand. It does get a little rowdy on Sundays when locals turn up to grill and bump Soca. The Casino is an absolute classic cocktail, dating back to before the prohibition. It's quite simple to make. We found this recipe to be tart and potent...that may have been because we didn't have maraschino liqueur. I wish we could get that product on our hands- it's very versatile! Either way, our official taste tester didn't seem to mind lol! We are so curious...if you have time let us know what you are finding more interesting so far on Catamaran Cocktails ...the classics or the original recipes.
