This is our first vacation in 3 years. Initially we were going to San Antonio to watch the eclipse on October 14, 2023 and decided to extend take an actual vacation. One mistake in the video is We decided to go to Big Bend National Park. Mona has always wanted to experience Big Bend and she did, as you'll see in future videos. Thanks for watching. The Double Sheet Bend is one of if not the best way to join to ropes of different diameter. You can learn how to tie a double sheet bend in less than two minutes. Here at Bottom Up Boat we prefer the Double Sheet Bend over the Single Sheet bend, the two loops around the bight give it key advantages over the single sheet bend. The two loops make the knot more secure before the knot has been put under load and easier to untie as the double loops cause the knot to tighten on the bight rather than the loop wedging itself at the top of the bend. Malpe is an important port and major fishing harbour of the Karnataka coast. We went to Malpe to visit St. Mary's Island to do some cliff diving, but unfortunately there were all the boats were cancelled for some reason. Nanoq has enjoyed a lot of success at this regatta. 2026 SheSails International Conference | Give to Gain The 2026 SheSails International Conference brought together inspiring women from across the sailing community for an evening of conversations, shared experiences and ideas about creating more opportunities for women and girls in sailing. Hosted by Nic Douglass (@SailorGirlHQ) and the SheSails Ambassador, the conference explored this year's theme, **Give to Gain: Steering the Course**, highlighting the importance of participation, leadership, volunteering, mentoring and supporting the next generation. The conference featured: - **Jo Aleh:** Olympic gold and silver medallist, four-time Olympian and America's Cup sailor, sharing insights from her journey at the highest levels of the sport. - **Julia Hornsby:** First female Commodore of the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club and Australian Sailing's 2025 Volunteer of the Year. - **Fiona McManus:** Sharing the Northern Territory Women's Regatta and the importance of creating opportunities for women in sailing. - **Belinda Stowell:** Olympic gold medallist and coach. - **Greta Carroll:** Featured sailor in *Shape of Wind*. - **Micha Alon:** Producer and creative director of *Shape of Wind*.
