I went to visit the Zipline blood delivery service in Rwanda. Over 24000 units of blood delivered so far without incident. I'm amazed the rest of the world isn't doing this yet. They cut the deliver time from 5 hours in the worst case to a maximum of 45 minutes, with most orders delivered in 20. They're were 6 deliveries in the hour and a half I spent onsite.

Anthony and I feel so blessed to live in Kauai where we can feel safe with the ocean at our footsteps. We are so blessed Hawaii officials understood the ocean was an essential need for us. Unfortunately - Mother Nature had a different plan. So we did it!! We crossed the Gulf of Mexico again! This time apon arriving into Pensacola Florida we came across the daunting truth that the virus that was in China when we left Texas is now a full blown pandemic and the entire world is shutting down. We decided it was best to keep moving and keep our distance at sea instead of increasing our chances by sticking close to land. We also thought about renaming our sailboat to Mephobia -- which means being afraid of being so awesome that the world can't handle it AND DIES --- too soon? What a build. These few days really kicked my butt. Ive built some difficult things in my life. This build is in the top 10. There were times that I wanted to throw this thing through the door, smash it with a hammer and just go home. El sábado 15 de mayo se disputó la regata Ciudad de Ensenada organizada por el Club Regatas La Plata con un total de 26 inscriptos. Se dieron condiciones de viento flojo, unos 9 nudos que cayeron a 3 y con un rio en bajante y planchado. La tripulación como siempre dispuesta a correr las regatas y disfrutar de un buen momento haciendo lo que nos gusta, se adaptó rápidamente a las condiciones reinantes.

We're a Dutch/Australian Sailing family with 2 girls. You'll see us preparing our 25 foot sailing boat Empress for her return to the waters of the Netherlands and beyond. We do boat works on the hard, getting her ready for splash day! You'll see us refining our skills, like baking, Home schooling, and knot-tying during the Corona virus lockdown. The girls get cabin fever and do some crazy indoor rollerblading, and celebrate Australia day. We enjoy Haarlem Life and take a visit to the Grote Markt to celebrate Christmas. Haarlem also has a record dump of snow and the girls go tabboganing on the new man made hill in our park where Anouk loses a milk tooth. We tried making the most of winter by ice-skating both indoors and out on natural ice in our local park. Covid 19 did'nt stop the girls from celebrating other dutch traditions such as Sinterklaas or Sint Maarten and their birthdays. Enjoy!
