It’s time to keep it moving so we’re leaving the USVI’s and we are heading to Sint Maarten. SXM Has been the one island where we have spent the most time. We purchased our boat here in 2021 and did tons of boat work no the island well. Looking forward to checking off a lot of items on our to do list and reconnecting with friends! Some of this was not caught on camera, but our dingy wound up breaking so we talked our dock mates into hijacking their dingy for the race and we even gave the other team a head start… Race started at the doc and ended up at one tree island in the ICW at clearwater beach. In this week's sailing video Rob FINALLY repairs the Water Maker on Jaygo. He speaks about his experience with FilmTec RO membranes and shows the problems that we have had. We also visit the Bali Sailing Centre which is run by the AMAZING Pak Kiki. Kiki works tirelessly to teach sailing to people who in many cases would not get the opportunity. His Sailing Centre caters for all ages from 7 to 80 and all levels of experience, but his real passion is for teaching the local Indonesian kids. Dee also gets fed up with her long hair in the Indonesian summer and visits the hairdresser to take drastic action.

Hi and welcome aboard @SailingAstridTheWombat We are Gav and Shezz and two and a half years ago we bought our Beneteau Oceanis 430 sailboat with absolutely no sailing experience and jumped straight into the deep end of liveaboard sailing. Our very first passage was just over 700 nautical miles, launching us headfirst into the world of bluewater cruising, learning to sail, and real life at sea. Since that moment, we’ve been fully immersed in boat life, documenting the journey of turning a production cruising sailboat into a capable, self-sufficient home as we prepare for full-time liveaboard life.
