Après une montée au mât extrêmement difficile et 5 heures de travail acharné, le skipper a pu redescendre après avoir installé le rail. La réparation complète nécessite encore quelques ajustements, mais le marin a pu reprendre sa route ! 🇬🇧 Antoine Cornic stopped at anchor this morning at Saint-Paul Island (TAFF) to carry out repairs on his mainsail traveller,. After an extremely difficult climb up the mast and 5 hours of hard work, the skipper was able to descend after installing the track. Absolute SCUBA India is proud to be the FIRST Indian Scuba diving centre to create a new World Record on 27th Dec 2016. The record is held by Pune's CEF who trusted Absolute SCUBA to deliver them the Record. We did ! This video is a tribute to the efforts leading to this historic win. Over 6 months of extensive training at our Pune training pool, much organisation between India & Koh Tao which was selected as the destination for the "Official Attempt" , lots of Guinness World Record rule books to read, dive plans to make, fine tune requirements of close to 80 dive professionals required for the effort and finally attempt the Record after a day of practice on 27 Dec 2016. Our win was the 3rd time EVER this record was created and became "Officially Amazing" as a Guinness World Record. It was all for one. And one for all.
