Final review of three Star Shower laser Christmas lights. I spaced them out for broader coverage, looks great except for how much light is blocked by the garage. I think if I raise each light 6 foot I will get better coverage. Made I will do this project next year. The laser light system was plugged into a music light show automation system that turns the lights off and on to Christmas music. I have them along with the traditional Christmas lights. I may move the one laser I put on the edge of the lawn to the top of the garage roof, I would just have to figure out how to do it with no damage to the roof.

Install of a 60W solar panel on a 27 foot Oday coastal cruiser that frequently goes out for daysails and overnight adventures to the Channel Islands where power is needed on the hook.

It was time to leave Percy Island as there were strong south easterlies on the way, 25 to 30 knotts expected. We set off to Curlew Island, around 30 nautical miles away - very light winds and we had to motor sail most of the way taking about 6hrs. Lots of small rocky islands along the way as we passed the Beverly Group of islands and Curlew was part of the Guardfish Cluster. We anchored in Davidson Bay with one other vessel and rode out the bulk of the strong winds. Set sail the next day with an early start, for Scawfell Island. Strong winds made for an exciting day and we had a great sail, averaging around 6 knotts but peaking at 8. Scawfell Island was very protected in Recluse Bay and there were quite a few vessels nestled in here. Pretty beaches and bays but we didn't go ashore. Next day we headed off to Thomas Island, which appears in our next episode. What camera gear do we use? Our previous owner liked to have all the comforts of home on the #sailboat , the only challenge is that none of it was wired to the panel instead, he ran extension cords to household appliances (i.e. a refrigerator, air conditioner, ice maker, a rigged up car charger connected to a water pump, etc.). So here I am taking the last of it out!! Lesson on WHAT NOT TO HAVE on your #boat or #sailboat
