Miriada is a fully-equipped 2013 Leopard 48 sailing catamaran, with four full cabins, a crew cabin, and two heads. This was the four cabin four head model but two heads have been converted to a laundry and a pantry. They could be reverted back to heads as the plumbing is still in place. The dedicated laundry center is forward to starboard and the pantry forward to port. Miriada is a clean vessel with no history of hurricane damage and was never in bareboat charter. The boat is fully off grid, has all major safety features available, and produces plenty of water, power, and fun each day for any family's needs. Main engines are Yanmar 4JH5E non-ECU motors with an estimated 4800 hours. The 2500W solar panels are complemented with a Northern Lights 9 kW genset.

Era para ser uma travessia tranquila como qualquer outra pois o dia estava lindo com ventos moderados e constantes... a maré de sizígia que variava de 2.4 m de altura tem uma correnteza forte aqui na nossa baía. E na entrada ali de Madre de Deus para o Loreto é ainda mais complicado. Pois faz um funil e a passagem de água é gigantesca. Foi ai que Wagner capotou num lugar do qual não era nada bom capotar. Então ele desvirou o veleiro mas na sequência antes mesmo de subir no barco capotou de novo. Isso aconteceu 3 x. Foi numa dessa que perdeu o leme. E junto a bolina. Ou seja barco totalmente desgovernado numa região complicada. Então fui atrás e recuperei o leme mas a bolina não encontrei. Todos estamos expostos para acontecer qualquer imprevisto. Mesmo preparados não estamos livres... O importante é manter a calma, aprender com o passado para entender o presente e resolver. In the summer of 2022 we took our boat, Defiant, down the coast of California as far as San Diego, and then back up to San Francisco again. This video covers our time from Dana Point, to Catalina Island, and the sail to San Diego. We get to race our home in this one, spectate the Long Point Race, and swim in some beautiful, warm water!

Anchoring through the night can be nerve-racking and sleepless. With my AnchorZone app you simply draw a circle around your boat. This creates a geofence. If your boat ever drifts outside that zone the alarm goes off. Simple and effective.

On November 5 at 22 h 13 min 58 sec local French time, Tom Laperche, and Franck Cammas, were the first to cross the ULTIM finish line in Fort-de-France Bay for the 17th edition of the TRANSAT CAFÉ L'OR Le Havre Normandie. Appearing out of a moody Caribbean night to break the Fort-de-France finish line first at 22 h 13 min 58 sec local time, 28-year-old Laperche, and 52-year-old co-skipper Cammas, win the ULTIM division of the famous biennial double handed race from Le Havre to Martinique. Their elapsed time for the 6670 nautical miles course from the French channel port to Martinique, via a turning mark at the Saint Peter and Sain Paul islets in the South Atlantic, is 10days, 13 hours, 3 minutes, and 58 seconds.

🇫🇷 Décidément Manuel Cousin joue de mal chance, après un problème sur sa grande voile hier, aujourd'hui il a été retardé par une entrée d'eau. 150 litres d'eau sont rentrés par la trappe de pont. Il a fallu réagir vite pour limiter les dégâts : dos au vent pour limiter l'entrée d'eau, récupération des voiles stockées dans la trappe, puis colmatage à la colle. La trappe est condamnée et ne fuit plus.
