Kommt mit zur wunderhübschen Chora, mit dem Kloster und der Burgruine auf dem Gipfel und auf die andere Seite der Insel, wo wir in Lanaria Zeuge eines Anlegemanövers werden, das durch den Marinero an Land komplett im Chaos endet. This is part 4 of a step-by-step build of a B&B Yacht Designs Spindrift 10 nesting dinghy, following the guidance from the build instructions. This video focuses on preparing the outside and inside for priming, attaching the keel protector, installing a bow cleat, daggerboard hole, skewers for connecting the tow halves, priming and masking to get ready for gel coating. Notably, I did not off-set the daggerboard intentionally, I decided to just lose some of the keep protector in favor of symmetry. I purchased the pre-cut "kit" to save some time, but the same results can be accomplished by purchasing the build instructions and cutting your own marine-grade plywood. This video is for those who are looking to build their own dinghy, and who wish to learn more about the process. This is the second project Brent and I worked on together, the previous being a 7' pram for Brent. I hope you enjoy, and I hope you take away some successes we had, as well as learning from some of the failures we encountered.

IL T-RIB 48 - Una Nuova Generazione Il primo modello puro dell’era Parisi è il T-Rib 48. Tutti i pregi di un rib; stabilità, affidabilità e tenuta, ma con gli spazi e la comodità di uno yacht. Una carena sviluppata su un progetto del mitico Tom Fexas, che può contare sulla funzione statica e dinamica dei suoi speciali tubolari, garantendo sorprendenti doti di stabilità trasversale e ottime prestazioni. Grazie a due Volvo Penta da 440 cavalli ciascuno la barca è in grado di raggiungere una velocità massima di 45 nodi e di navigare in totale sicurezza a una velocità di crociera di 35 nodi. Perfettamente accordata con l’opera viva, la parte che emerge dalle grandi murate, integrate con gli imponenti tubolari, oltre che a proteggere dal mare tutta l’area abitabile, culmina in uno speciale musone semirigido che permette di “appoggiarsi” a qualsiasi superficie senza fare o subire danni. Questo nuovo scafo ha un volume interno impressionante, simile a quello di un superyacht. Con un baglio di ben 4,50 metri, ciò si traduce in un volume mai visto prima in un rib, tale da essere riusciti a ricavare due cabine a tutto baglio spaziose e molto abitabili e una toilette. Se gli interni, per spazio, luminosità e visuale, costituiscono l’aspetto più sorprendente del T-Rib, non meno interessante è l’originale layout della coperta che, soprattutto grazie al suo disegno asimmetrico, permette di passeggiare lungo tutto lo scafo in piena sicurezza: dalla piattaforma poppiera fino al salotto di prua, passando per il living esterno (formato da un ampio prendisole e da una comoda dinette a “U”) e per la plancia di comando, posta in posizione centrale. Oggi la Tornado Yachts intraprende un nuovo viaggio, guidata dal CEO Daniele Parisi, maestro d’ascia da tre generazioni e fondatore dei Cantieri Parisi, scelto dalla famiglia Sonnino Sorisio (famiglia storica nel mondo della nautica), che ha definito Parisi come “l’uomo con la visione giusta per rilanciare la nuova era di Tornado Yachts”.
