After a nice and enjoyable stay in Trizonia, Gulf of Corinth we continue our sailing journey East towards Corfu. On the way we stop in a beautiful Nafpaktos - a town and a former municipality in Aetolia-Acarnania, West Greece, where we admire the view and get back on the road - the next attraction - Rion-Antirion Bridge, which as impressive as it can get. After a quick stop for the night we on the other fun part - a short channel between mainland Greece and Lefkos Island, where at the end is the bridge that is being raised for the boats, just this time - it closes right in front of us? Turns out, the entire coast of Portugal is a trap! :) Every time there is a Westerly winds 15-20kns or more (pretty much always after September), the waves are huge and most of the ports alone the coast are closed. And they can be closed for days and days! I've spend one week in Porto, Portugal waiting for the weather window. There were constant rain, wind and waves, but it was a pleasant experience nevertheless. I'll miss Porto!
