In the harbor of Karlovasi at Samos, when we turned our back to the see, we looked at a high hill with a beautiful church. However, it was quite difficult to get there with our bike and scooter. Luckily—long live the drone—it can take a look almost anywhere 😉 It turned out to be the Church of the Holy Trinity, beautifully positioned on an elevated location above the port. ### ⛵ Cosa fare se finisci il carburante in mare? Scopri tutto in questo video! In questo video parliamo di una situazione che può capitare anche ai più esperti: restare senza carburante in mare. Ti spieghiamo come prevenirla, cosa fare in emergenza, come usare correttamente il VHF e quali sono le regole (e i costi) del rimorchio in mare. Un contenuto indispensabile per chi va in barca, sia a vela che a motore. --- ### ✅ La prevenzione è tutto Prima di uscire in mare, è fondamentale calcolare con attenzione il carburante necessario. Il consiglio è semplice ma spesso ignorato: **porta sempre almeno il 30% in più** del carburante stimato in base alla durata della navigazione e al consumo medio del motore. Esempio: se prevedi 4 ore di navigazione a un consumo medio di 100 litri/ora, prepara almeno **520 litri**, considerando la riserva. --- ### 🚨 Cosa fare se rimani senza carburante in mare? Se succede, niente panico. 1. **Usa la radio VHF**, sintonizzandoti sul **canale 16**, dedicato alle comunicazioni di emergenza con la Capitaneria di Porto. 2. **Spiega chiaramente la situazione**. Non preoccuparti del linguaggio tecnico: è più importante essere chiari che perfetti. Se non sai usare il VHF, dillo apertamente. 3. **Segui le istruzioni**: ti verrà fornita assistenza, spesso tramite un rimorchio verso il porto più vicino. --- ### 💰 Il rimorchio si paga! Ricorda che chi ti soccorre sta impiegando tempo, carburante e risorse. Non è un servizio gratuito: **il rimorchio va pagato**, anche solo per riconoscenza o per coprire le spese vive. In casi internazionali o con navi commerciali, si può arrivare a pagare **fino al 5% del valore del carico o dell’imbarcazione**, ma per le imbarcazioni da diporto si resta su cifre più ragionevoli. --- ### 📲 Esistono app per trovare carburante in mare? Non esistono app specifiche per "benzinai marini", ma le **cartografie GPS nautiche** (come quelle Garmin) mostrano i punti di interesse, tra cui i porti con distributori di carburante. Queste informazioni sono spesso incluse nelle app di navigazione nautica e sui GPS da barca. --- ### 🤝 Buon senso in mare Che tu stia prestando soccorso o ricevendolo, **comportati sempre con rispetto e correttezza**.
