We are replacing all of our appliances, and that requires a new counter! While removing the old one, we discovered just how heavy Corian is. It's are to believe anyone puts it in a catamaran. In this episode we are building a new counter from Coosa Board laminated with 1/8 inch fiberglass sheet. We're pretending we know how to be carpenters by using biscuits to join the pieces and even created drop edges. Raja Ampat Dive Site. Algue Patch at South Batanta Algue Path is a dive site South of Batanta Island. This site was our last dive site of our Liveaboard trip (on our way back to Sorong) in Raja Ampat, including Misool. The site has a gentle slope with some stones and different type of algue. Ideal for muck diving. Unfortunately, with my GoPro I could not video most of the critters that can be found here, but there are many different type of Nudibranchs, Ghost Pipefish, Octopus and so many more. One thing I particular enjoy on this site was the Blue Flasher Wrasse. Because they move so fast are are quite shy, it's almost impossible to get any video of them. I was told, later the season, is usually when the Rhinopias and Frog Fish make their appearance here... Maybe next time.
