This video was difficult to make in so many ways. Packing up Saoirse in the hopes of selling her was tough, we wanted to leave her in new owner ready condition which meant clearing her out, deep cleaning, fixing and making sure she was in tip top shape. It is always a difficult task in Trinidads heat. It was an extremely hard goodbye, any boat owner will know that a boat is more than an object. Your boat is your home, your safety in terrible conditions, you have to have incredible faith in an object that can cross oceans and keep your entire family safe through it all. Lets not forget the money pit that all your savings go into too? We miss Robin everyday but are so grateful to be able to relive all these memories through our videos. Even though we were under strict instruction not to film him and he didn't want to talk on camera, we will always have 16 months of incredible memories together that we are able to look back on. Thank you to so many of our viewers that have reached out to us, sent beautiful messages and words of condolences over the past few weeks. We appreciate every single one.

The last few weeks I have been on the hunt for a guitar that best fits my lifestyle. I needed something small so I could store it anywhere on the sailboat and in the van. I needed it to be tough because I knew it is going to have a rough life ahead of it. I needed it to stand up to humidity, moisture, and temperature changes that we experience on the water. Oh and I wanted it to not sound like shit or feel like a toy guitar you get at Walmart. And I think I finally found it. The Little Martin LX1E After sifting through a ton of different options, it finally came down to the Little Martin. It fits the bill perfectly and sounds great. Super easy to hide in the boat or the van and comes with a backpack style gig bag too so you can fit right in with all the losers, I mean "travelers", in Ocean Beach. Here is a link to the Little Martin page on their website https://www.martinguitar.com/guitars/little-martin-series/LX1.html?cgid=lx-series-guitars So far the guitar has exceeded expectations in quality and sound. Does not feel like I'm downgrading guitars, just downsizing. I am no great guitarist, but I do enjoy playing and I think even a better guitarist would have a hard time arguing with this guitar, even up against standard sized guitars priced around $400. Really hard to beat for that price. The main competitor that I found for this guy was the Baby Taylor, but some insider info from someone I know that used to work at Taylor Guitars led me to believe that the Martin is a higher quality build. BUT if I was willing to spend a couple hundred bucks more and get a slightly bigger but still pretty small guitar, I would probably be leaning toward the Martin Dreadnaught JR or the Taylor GS Mini. However, those two beautiful guitars are all wood and overtime would succumb to the moisture that surrounds our floating house all day. My only con that I have found so far with this guitar is that, even though I have the electronics, Martin decided not to put a built in tuner on the guitar. Kinda sad, but not at all a deal breaker for me. Also I think I wouldn't be devastated if the scale length was a touch longer. Anyway, thrilled with the guitar. I'm going to get back to playing it now. Hope this video helped you out and thanks for watching! Always feel free to comment or ask questions and I will try and get back to you. www.triosmacandcheese.com Food Truckin' is full of road trips to fun Fairs and Festivals. Fairs that are full of happy people. A captive audience of thousands with money in their pockets and hunger in their stomachs and a craving desire to try out new and fun Food Truck food! We're always parked on a nice grassy field with live music playing on the nearby stage. The other food trucks around us are willing to trade food, and there is always a bunch of fun activities to take part in when the food truck is slow... It's serious hard work, but it's something we love. This video is a taste of last year's Food Truck Summer. This year Covid 19 made Food Truckin' a completely different scenario. Sales were 70% less than last year and that was working much longer hours as we tried to bring in as many dollars as we could to keep us afloat. Let's hope the world can kick this Covid virus out on it's head and we can get back to some sort of normal in 2021. Cheers! Trio www.triotravels.ca
