John Craig, America's Cup 34 Principle Race Officer, spoke at Unfurling Opportunities a forum hosted by GoSailingSF.org. He gave the first public presentation in San Francisco about what the course area for the Cup races would look like. He's planning on using every available inch of open water in the main bay and working with all the stakeholders to make sure that works. The shoreside venues are complex and need to fill a lot of different roles - not the least is providing vantage points to see this exciting race without getting out on a boat. The 72' catamarans will be visible from many locations on Marin and San Francisco. We want to make sure that everyone who lives here knows the America's Cup is taking place on the Bay. Team bases, media offices, AC34 administrative offices and other activities will take space on the piers with access to the water. John lays out what is being proposed and where it will be housed.

Paul gives us a candid look at how he got here and where he wants to go. Whether its his early experiences with America's Cup sailing with Tom Blackaller on Defender and then USA or looking into the future with his new team Artemis Racing, Paul let's us in on some good stories about what it takes to sail the for the Cup. Paul also tells us a little about the lessons learned on the EF Language Whitbread campaign as they raced across the Southern Ocean.

Gary Jobson came to speak at Unfurling Opportunities a forum hosted by GoSailingSF.org. His longtime association with the America's Cup as both a competitor and a commentator gives him a unique perspective on what having the Cup in San Francisco might mean. He's got some great stories and some good points to think about for anyone who wants to be a part of America's Cup 34.

Note: LED dimmers are only found in Master Stateroom and salon on this vessel. The other stateroom switches just turn on and off the lights. This new LED lighting system has a very low consumption and put's off a great light throughout the vessel. I took these series of videos to try to capture a test sail on the Jeanneau 3200 Sun Fast here in San Diego's bay. I hope that you find this information helpful and informative. As you can see in this video with low wind speeds averaging 7-12kts the vessel sailed effortlessly with great speed.
