Am Ende haben wir nach 07:30 Std. 41,3 sm auf der Logge. Nach dem Anleger gehen wir, wie früher die Hansekapitäne, zum Essen in die "Schiffergesellschaft". Besser geht's nicht. Zunächst passieren wir mit der Storebeltbroen eine der größten Brücken der Welt, ausgehend von Korsør durch das Østerenden, direkt am Großschifffahrtsweg, von Süd nach Nord. Logbuchauszug, 25. Juni 05: Um 1715 haben wir den Leuchtturm Flügge etwa eine sm querab, als uns Leichtmatrose Niklas (13 J.) sagt, "... da, da war eben ein Fisch." Peter und ich haben nur ein leises Platschen gehört und Peter, der auch gelegentlich angelt, tippt sofort auf einen Hornhecht, "... die sind zu dieser Jahreszeit ziemlich weit oben unterwegs." Während Karsten mit dem Camcorder, für den guten Ton auf www.ralfuka.de immer noch die Bugwelle einfängt, geht die Crew zur Bordroutine über. Ein paar Sekunden später die Überraschung: Da!!! Beinahe im Kielwasser taucht ein Schweinswal auf und gleich daneben ein zweiter, beide vielleicht 20 m backbord achteraus. Schnell haben die Meeressäuger "Kalami" und uns an ihrer Seite, schwimmen knapp einen Meter neben der Bordwand, tauchen unter, kehren zurück - oder sind es mehr als zwei, vielleicht vier oder sechs? Wir wissen es nicht. Immer wieder dasselbe Spiel und vielleicht kehren sie nur deshalb zurück, weil sie in aller Ruhe von Karsten gefilmt werden wollen. Auszug aus dem Logbuch vom 02.09.07: Was ist mit unserem Speed? 2 - 3 Bft. aus S, weiterhin 2 kn Strom gegenan und immer noch Albuen an Backbord; Fahrt über Grund 0,5 kn! Die Arbeitsfock muss runter und die Genua für mehr Vortrieb sorgen. Segelwechsel. Bei dem Wind kein Problem, aber ausgerechnet jetzt schon wieder ein Schweinswal? Tatsächlich, wieder das typische „Luftschnappen", dann nochmal und daneben wieder, es sind mehrere „Marsvine" - wir sind schließlich in dänischen Gewässern unterwegs. Ist das eine „Schule"? Vier oder fünf Schweinswale ziehen langsam in West-Ostrichtung durch unser Kielwasser. Vielleicht sind sie 20 m entfernt und diesmal läuft die Kamera mit und hält diesen Moment ganz sicher fest. „Kommt näher", flüstert der Kameramann und hat in Gedanken schon den Videopreis beim Wettbewerb der Gesellschaft zum Schutz der Meeressäuger (GSM) in der Tasche, als noch ein Nachzügler dem Kurs der „Schule" folgt. Um 1530 Uhr ist die Show vorbei, das GPS zeigt 54° 49'20'' N; 10° 53'77'' O. Was für ein seltenes Glück. Folgt man der GSM-Einschätzung, dass in der deutschen Ostsee noch ca. 600 vom Aussterben bedrohte Meeressäuger leben, so haben wir eben 1 % davon gesehen. Mein erster Einhandtörn bringt uns zur Mittsommernacht 2007 von Heiligenhafen nach Bagenkop. Keine großartige Leistung, aber jeder Weg beginnt nun mal mit dem ersten Schritt und in diesem Fall mit einem aufregenden dazu, denn vielleicht zwei, drei Meilen weiter westlich mischt eine Gewitterböe einige Crews mächtig auf. Wir schrammen gerade so dran vorbei und sind in Bagenkop zu Gast beim St. Hans Bål, der traditionellen Mittsommernacht am 23. Juni. Inzwischen segeln wir nicht mehr mit unserer finnischen Targa 96 "Kalami", sondern seit Aug. 07 mit unserer Bavaria 37/3 "Kalami Star".
