Il punto di riferimento dei superyacht nel Mediterraneo. Porto Mirabello, è stato inaugurato nel Settembre 2010. Una breve cronistoria: 2007 iniziano i lavori di bonifica, Ottobre 2008 comincia la costruzione dei moli. La consegna dei primi posti barca avviene nel Giugno 2009 e un anno dopo vengono terminate le realizzazioni a terra. Il Porto rappresenta l’esempio unico in Italia di marina cittadino realizzato completamente sul mare: una penisola artificiale di 40.000 mq e uno specchio d’acqua per complessivi 270.000 mq circa che mantiene inalterata la costa, valorizzandone l’incontrovertibile vocazione nautica. Il complesso, collegato alla città di La Spezia da un ponte pedonale, è dotato di ogni confort e tecnologie all’avanguardia, offre 407 posti barca con concessione demaniale di 60 anni, a partire da 12 metri, 100 dei quali destinati a super yacht dai 25 a 130 m. L’attenzione maniacale verso il target alto dei mega yacht è dimostrata dagli standard progettuali e dai servizi esclusivi: moli larghi fino a 35 metri con 1300 parcheggi e 287 box auto anche di fronte all’ormeggio, eliporto, sorveglianza 24 ore su 24, cantiere per le manutenzioni, travel lift x alaggio e varo di imbarcazioni fino a 160 tonnellate, due stazioni di bunkeraggio. Lo staff dispone di personale altamente qualificato per i servizi all’armatore più esigente. In sinergia con l’Autorità Portuale di La Spezia sono stai realizzati oltre 700 posti barca per natanti di lunghezza inferiore ai 14 metri, ricavati su 13 pontili galleggianti, situati all’esterno del molo principale. Porto Mirabello sfrutta la posizione riparata del Golfo di La Spezia, protetto dalla conformazione geografica e dalle isole Tino e Palmaria e da un frangiflutti di 620 metri, consente di navigare in tranquillità per circa 300 giorni l’anno. Porto Mirabello è l’ambiente ideale per i superyacht, inserito in un contesto ambientale di altissimo pregio, determinato dalla vicinanza con realtà di enorme valore storico e paesaggistico come Lerici, Porto Venere, Cinque Terre e Portofino. Anche la collocazione baricentrica nell’alto Tirreno pone il porto quale ideale punto di partenza per brevi crociere verso le più affascinanti mete turistiche come Montecarlo, Corsica, Isola d’Elba, Capri, costa Amalfitana, o la splendida Porto Cervo in Sardegna. È un progetto innovativo, pensato per assicurare ai suoi ospiti, eccellenza dei servizi, soluzioni d’avanguardia, grandi spazi, massima agibilità e totale attenzione ai target più alti del diportismo, oltre che tranquillità, benessere, comodità e una vasta selezione di attività per il tempo libero. This video is about New Jeanneau 439 Sun Odyssey Just Arrived from France By: Ian Van Tuyl When a yacht is shipped over from the factory in France on a freighter this is ow they come and we commission the vessel here in San Diego, CA at Shelter Island Boat Yard. Starting with the Keel install then the rudder and once they are assembled and bonded together the bottom paint is applied and the yacht is splashed in the water and the mast is stepped. Then we drive the yacht over to the fuel dock fill it up and bring it over to our docks behind my office at Marina Cortez on Harbor Island where we finish the commissioning of the yacht and get it ready to deliver to the new owner. The Transatlantic Race 2015 is a 2,800-mile race from Newport, R.I., to The Lizard on the southwestern corner of England. This is the 30th transatlantic race since three New York Yacht Club members sponsored the first one in 1866. A fleet of 38 boats—ranging in size from 40 to 140 feet and in age from 100 years to 10 months—will depart from Newport in one of three different starts (June 28, July 1 and July 5). Start 1 includes the slowest boats in the fleet and the race's true Corinthian sailors. They will spend two weeks or more crossing the Atlantic.
