Race seven of the series set off in an un-forecast southerly sea breeze. In this Artemis Racing, steered by Torbjörn Törnqvist, started well and pulled out a good lead to become the first boat to score a second race win at this regatta. Charisma followed with their first race win of the event before Vladimir Prosikhin’s Team Nika scored her second race win to consolidate her position at the top of the leaderboard. More wind and more stable conditions in Hayling Bay allowed for three races to be banged off in quick succession at the RC44 Portsmouth Cup today. While a 10th place in the first race finally put a blemish on the score line of Vladimir Prosikhin's Team Nika, the Russian team subsequently posted a consistent 2-2. As a result they continue to lead this third event in the 2016 RC44 Championship. But demonstrating how close the RC44 fleet is at this stage of their season, across the six races sailed so far, there have been six different winners. And even a boat which to date hasn't scored a race win at the RC44 Portsmouth Cup, or indeed a second, was today's second top scoring boat in Artemis Racing Youth. Juni 2014 in Hamburg gestartet. 2015: Kanarischen Inseln 2016: Kapverdische Inseln, im Februar 2016 unsere Atlantik-Überquerung nach Französisch Guyana. Dann kleine Antillen und noch einmal die Guyanas und Suriname mit der Nereid’s Rally. 2017: ABC-Inseln (nur BC), Mexiko und Belize. In Mexiko haben wir eine dreiwöchige Rundreise im Landesinneren unternommen. Im Anschluss kamen Providencia und Kolumbien Festland (ebenfalls mit einer dreiwöchigen Rundreise) und die San Blas Inseln in Panama. 2018: Wir wurden im Januar in Panama vom Blitz getroffen. Die Reparatur dauerte drei Monate. Nach der Passage durch den Panama Kanal haben wir den Rest des Jahres in Ecuador verbracht und fünf Wochen das Landesinnere erkundet. 2019: Osterinsel, Gambier, Tuamotu und Gesellschaftsinseln. 2020: Die Corona-Krise hat uns in Gambier (Franz. Polynesien) erwischt. Wir werden sehen, wohin der Wind uns treibt und wie weit wir kommen.

We experience our windiest sail so far! 30-35 knots steady on the beam between Gran Canaria and La Gomera and we are being tested by the acceleration zones. As we are closing in on La Gomera the wind is gusting to 40 knots, and we have to enter the marina in darkness. Before we untied the lines we made a roadtrip around Gran Canaria, heading up the mountains. We also checked out the world cup in windsurfing in Pozo Izquierdo on the east coast. Résumé du Raid Côtier à Dunkerque Depuis 1978, des milliers de régatiers ont découvert les côtes françaises, ont été refoulés par les courants de la Manche, ont demandé leur position aux pêcheurs bretons ou se sont fait coucher par du Mistral. D’une joyeuse course-croisière, le Tour de France à la Voile est devenu une belle école de course au large pour de nombreux équipages amateurs et jeunes marins talentueux, puis une compétition de haut niveau avec la présence de grands champions. Le Diam 24 marque le début d'une nouvelle ère sur le Tour de France à la Voile. Dans la droite ligne des bateaux précédents, le Diam 24 est un monotype mais il est le premier trimaran à être choisi comme bateau du Tour. Dessiné par le cabinet VPLP et construit à Port La Forêt par Vianney Ancelin, ce sport boat a déjà séduit de nombreux grands marins français depuis son lancement officiel. _________________________________________________________________ Sailing News TV est la première chaîne Youtube sur la voile. Constructing keel components for my 54' cruising sailboats

We have sold our house, negotiations are done, August 13th we are officially homeless. The biggest reason for the move is the weather of Florida, not having the extremes of Texas weather. We are going to miss Texas, but looking forward to start a new chapter of our life's.

Pretty much as the title suggests. SeaHorse came with a complete set of B&G instruments that included an excellent Zeus 2 chart plotter in the cockpit. Although this is great when sailing its less convenient if your down below. Installing the WiFi-1 module lets us make use of the B&G GoFree app on a tablet computer, this allows us to take control of the chartplotter from any were in the boat. During this week we got few thunderstorms and as a result Jack invented a very practical thing to collect rain water. We also visited a famous Dolphin House where one person picks things right from the ocean and beach. Few days we spent for exploring local beaches. And the most important moment out of the entire week happened with us and Alex, the person who showed us how to find and prepare conchs.
