We head to Antigua, West Indies for a long weekend of boat shopping. But first we take a tour of the Antigua Yacht Club marina in English Harbour, Falmouth. Superyachts were everywhere, and we couldn't help lusting after them.

We ended up spending a week in Mole St Nicolas. During that time, we tackled a few boat projects, enjoyed a few super cheap meals at the local hotel, and even went sailing with our friend Jimmy. After a few days in the BEST anchorage in Haiti, we were sad to leave such a wonderful place and such wonderful people, but we were also really excited to head out and set sail towards Cap Haitien. We made a few stops in St. Lucia and then arrived to Le Marine in Martinique which felt a little bit like being back in Europe. It was the easiest and cheapest clearance so far! Welcome to episode 4! This is the first of two episodes based in the Caribbean yachting centre of Sint Maarten/Saint Martin. This week we enter Simpson Bay Lagoon and get settled in the anchorage for a week of boat maintenance, buying new boat toys and getting stuck into the social scene (hello $1 beers!). We're very excited to buy a new RIB and outboard which allows us to zip around the lagoon like no-one's business. We also get front row seats to some windy weather-related drama, namely a yacht dragging its anchor and being rescued by the coast guard, and a superyacht having a world of trouble getting into the marina. After a fun night out at our new 'local', Lagoonies, we return home to find our masthead lights are not working- you know what that means! Yes, a trip up the mast for Terysa to change the bulbs over. Nerve wracking for her, but good for you as you get some awesome views over the lagoon! Hunt and Betsy Lawrence (New York, NY) received the prestigious Nathanael G. Herreshoff Trophy for their outstanding contributions to the sport of sailing. The Lawrences were instrumental in their financial support for the fleet of Olympic-class boats that were used at the Olympic venue in Rio for over two years to help train American athletes. Having access to these boats provided an important edge for Team USA as they prepared for the 2016 Rio Games. Oakcliff, a high performance training center, was founded by the Lawrences in 2010 and was named a US Sailing Team National Training Center in 2013. Oakcliff acquired multiple fleets of these Olympic-class boats that were used for training and racing in Oyster Bay and around the world. These boats were also used around the country for Olympic Development Program camps over the past two years, and helped many top youth athletes train and expand their skills.
