I purchased the 2016 version of the Bag of Holding by ThinkGeek and wanted to Share my impression.

1) Combien de temps vous êtes-vous préparé ? Je me suis préparé depuis 2016 seulement. 2) Avez-vous eu des gros problèmes techniques ? Oui, beaucoup, des voiles ont explosé, des câbles ont cassé et il y a eu de nombreuses fuites. 3) Combien de temps dormez-vous sur 24h ? Je dors environ 5h par jour avec quelques siestes de 30 minutes maximum. 4) La fatigue vous empêche-t-elle d’avancer ? Non c’est une habitude, il faut avoir un gros physique, c’est-à-dire un bon mental et il faut toujours être attentif ! 5) Êtes-vous content de votre course ? Oui et Non car je suis un compétiteur dans l’âme et je suis un peu frustré à cause de tous ces problèmes techniques ; ensuite, j’ai eu beaucoup moins de préparation que les autres concurrents donc je suis assez satisfait. 6) Quel est votre meilleur et votre pire souvenir ? Meilleur : J’ai vécu une fabuleuse nuit avec un ciel étoilé et une eau très lumineuse. Pire : J’ai eu un câble qui c’est cassé et j’ai failli me casser un doigt. 7) Avez vous fait un autre sport que la voile ? ! Même si je viens de Nouvelle Zélande, Je ne suis pas très fort au rugby mais en revanche, j’ai fait du VTT, de la course à pied et du cyclisme. J’ai déjà fait des courses de 24 heures donc je suis quelqu’un de très endurant. 8) Avez vous déjà rencontré des animaux ou des déchets ? Je n’ai jamais rencontré de baleines mais j’ai déjà aperçu des requins et des poissons volants ! Durant la course, on traverse des zones non habitées et on passe des jours à ne pas voir grand monde à part quelques pêcheurs. Dans les endroits où je suis passé, des gyres aspiraient les déchets en leur centre essentiellement en Atlantique nord

It is February 2017, snow has fallen and I visit my boat. This time there is a hole in the sprayhood window and I fix with some tape. Besides the damage i replace the base valve gasket in my jabsco toilet so the waste don't flow back in the bowl

This week we have got the greatest news for our sailing budget - our autopilot has been fixed, 50% by all our followers and 50% by us. All together we made it happen. We also have visited Heineken regatta in St. Martin and during those days met a guy, Victor, who recognized us from our YouTube movies :-) There was also one replacement on dinghy's motor - prop broke right in a middle of a lake. And no, we did not use paddles at that time. Jack found a way to come back home at low speed. We are an international couple - Jack (from France), Kateryna (from Ukraine).
