Une nouvelle page du Vendée Globe commence avec la sortie de chantier du SMA (Ex Macif) de Paul Meilhat.
I'm putting this project on the backburner in order to focus on the chain locker project. The good news is that I'm almost one and I do have a usable closet/locker. I just need to figure out the last few details. NB! YouTube has removed a feature called Branding Intro. That means that my intro (first the seconds of all my videos) is gone. The intro consisted of my logo showing for 3 seconds and the sound of a wave crashing. Sadly I have no way of adding the intro to my old videos. I might start adding it in editing to my future videos.
In this episode I got my first coat of anti-fouling paint on and talked about the zincs on the boat. I'm no expert in chemistry, but I gave the best explanation that I could. I also look at some of the products used for this project. *the thru hull fittings are bronze, not brass like I said in the video www.lifeislikesailing.com www.facebook.com/lifeislikesailing
In this episode I got the last coat of anti-fouling paint on. Since it was the Easter weekend and I didn't want to delay getting the paint on I ended up just straining the the paint that had the debris in it rather than try and get it exchanged. The strainer worked out fine and it didn't take long. www.lifeislikesailing.com www.facebook.com/lifeislikesailing
Join for a walk to the famous Bubbly Pools at Diamond Cay on Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands, CARIBBEAN! And make sure and adjust your playback settings as this video is filmed and published in 4K UltraHD Resolution from our new Sony AX100 camera! :) This day starts underwater off the beach in front of the new B-Line Beach Bar on Little Jost Van Dyke, that is connected to Jost Van Dyke (JVD) by a very large area of ancient reef that spans the entire distance from the Atlantic Ocean to inside Diamond Cay in front of the only structure in the bay, which is Foxy's Taboo Beach Bar You'll see some nice aerials overlooking Diamond Cay, then moving over to Foxy's Taboo and then we start wandering down the path towards the Bubbly Pools! You'll enjoy some nice scenes in nature, even a couple goats wandering on their own journey looking for the snack of the day and living a very simple and easy life... something some of us could learn a lot from! ;) If you enjoy the video, please be sure and share it with your friends list so they can enjoy it too... every view helps! And if you have a moment at the end of the video, it would be great if you'd leave a comment to tell me your favorite scene in the video.. thanks in advance! :) Video sponsored in part by Foxy's Tamarind Beach Bar http://www.FoxysBar.com Video Produced by http://www.LandAndSeaVideo.com ARL Logo Animation Produced by http://www.SomethingGames.com More Videos at http://www.AmbientRealLife.com caribbean, sailing, foxys bar, jost van dyke, jvd, bubbly pool, diamond cay, st maarten, sxm, british virgin islands, bvi, tourism, real estate, property, travel, sailors, ambient real life.
For more details, see our full post here: http://www.gonewiththewynns.com/flexible-rv-solar-issues-review We’ve had the flexible solar panels installed on our RV for a little over a year and we have some mixed emotions about them. Are flat solar panels necessary? Is flexible solar really worth the extra money? Will flexible solar panels last as long as tempered glass panels? Instead of just talking about the newest RV solar panel technology I figured: why not show you our flexible solar panel issues and let you decide for yourself.

Enjoying a carefree life on the endless big blue? Spending lazy days anchored off white coral beaches while you sip a cold one? That's what we thought in 2005 when we started living on s/y Esper. Since then, we've sailed from Turkey to Thailand via some of the most dangerous waters on the planet, and have to admit it's not always been plain sailing. Our videos tell it like it is, with a close-up of what spending every day on a yacht means, including all the cock-ups, blunders and downright daft decisions. ****************************** So why do we need your help? We want to continue sharing our good fortunes and misadventures with you, but we want to improve, and for that we need better equipment. That's why we have created a Patreon crowdfunding page. Imagine how more exciting our videos would be if they included things like underwater and aerial footage? And how about some fancier editing techniques? We love putting together each episode of our adventures, and since you enjoy our videos more than anything else we produce, we want to find a way to make them better. ****************************** And that's where Patreon steps in. Other crowdsourcing companies like Kickstarter raise funds for big projects and famous names. But Patreon funds everyday creators who are just doing it for the love. It was put together for people like us, who produce bitesize chunks of work on a regular basis. ****************************** Here's how it works: - have a look at our followtheboat page on the Patreon website; - sign up and 'pledge' an amount for each video we produce; it's a bit like leaving a tip at the end of a good meal, - this can be as little as $2 a video. - Each time we upload a video Patreon does the work and your "pledge" is automatically sent to us. - Don't worry, you can cap the amount you spend each month. So if we bring out ten videos in one month, and you've pledged $2 for each one, you don't have to end up with a $20 bill. You can set a monthly limit of, say $2. Or $4. Or $100! That's what's so great about Patreon, it's flexible. (By the way, we average 2 videos per month, sometimes more, sometimes less.) - And as a patron, you get fringe benefits, like: photos of the month, handwritten postcards, Esper T shirts, original photography calendars, name credits on our videos and even the chance to come on holiday aboard Esper with us! ****************************** We have to be honest here, everyone reacts well to appreciation, so knowing you're behind us will mean we'll be even more inspired to come up with new ideas and content. Of course, our videos and website will continue to remain free to everyone, that's a given. But if you would like to show us we are doing a good job, we would be thrilled if you became a followtheboat patron. And for commitment-phobes, don't worry, you can still show us you care by chucking a few pieces of eight in Esper's Rum Fund any time you feel like it. Just hit the Rum Fund bottle on our website. ****************************** Thank you for taking the time to share our adventures. Every 'like', 'hit' and comment brings us closer together. If you choose to become a followtheboat patron we promise to do our best for you. Even if you don't, just knowing you are taking part in our joys and tribulations really does inspire us to find better ways to tell our story. And don't forget to... followtheboat! ****************************** https://www.patreon.com/followtheboat ****************************** Like the music in this video? 00:00 - Followtheboat's theme music: 'Suddenly' by Otis McDonald https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y66Dh5lx4qY 0:21 - 'Extinction Level Event' by Jingle Punks https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_X0SShfuY6w 1:01 'Pooka' by Kevin MacLeod https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6KIoUgA1OKY 2:31 'Malmo Sunrise' by The 126ers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ritn3lY0ZEc 3:37 'Wish You'd Come True' by 126ers https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=espj8a2qrGM
Class 40 racing yacht going though it's paces. A few friends and I out and about on a beast of a boat having fun in bright Plymouth sunshine.
Busy Brazilian times for the Boatyard. The boats just got back from sailing Leg 5 across the Southern Ocean and the centre of shared maintenance is fixing Team SCA's sails and MAPFRE’s mast - amongst other things.
