I'm helping a wonderful couple sail their boat from Baltimore to Ft Lauderdale. We've had a few issues, but thankfully, we've been able to remedy them quickly. We lost the prop upon docking in Charleston, and the main sail ripped while underway. Unfortunately, the main cannot be repaired, so it will reduce our stability, but since we'll be sailing downwind, it's not a dealbreaker. I lost the kill cord and had to ask a friend to tow me and our guests back to Britican. That’s the fifth time in ten years that I’ve lost the kill cord. Have I learned yet?
