I'm helping a wonderful couple sail their boat from Baltimore to Ft Lauderdale. We've had a few issues, but thankfully, we've been able to remedy them quickly. We lost the prop upon docking in Charleston, and the main sail ripped while underway. Unfortunately, the main cannot be repaired, so it will reduce our stability, but since we'll be sailing downwind, it's not a dealbreaker. Sono giorni ricchi a bordo di Julia, per varie ragioni. Per noi è rappresentata dallle porte dell’Atlantico e, nel nostro caso, da un’enorme accoglienza verso il nostro futuro. Noi a partire da questo momento smettiamo di solcare mari esplorati per addentrarci in acque sconosciute, molto più profonde, abissali.
