I'm helping a wonderful couple sail their boat from Baltimore to Ft Lauderdale. We've had a few issues, but thankfully, we've been able to remedy them quickly. We lost the prop upon docking in Charleston, and the main sail ripped while underway. Unfortunately, the main cannot be repaired, so it will reduce our stability, but since we'll be sailing downwind, it's not a dealbreaker. As part of their 150th anniversary celebrations, Holland America Line's flag ship Rotterdam retraced her steps and made an Eastbound transatlantic crossing 150 years to the day after the historic first voyage. After leaving New York the first port of call was our home town of Plymouth in South West England.
