I'm helping a wonderful couple sail their boat from Baltimore to Ft Lauderdale. We've had a few issues, but thankfully, we've been able to remedy them quickly. We lost the prop upon docking in Charleston, and the main sail ripped while underway. Unfortunately, the main cannot be repaired, so it will reduce our stability, but since we'll be sailing downwind, it's not a dealbreaker. Rain and a light 8-10 knot northerly accompanied Master Lock Comanche as she entered the Sydney Heads this morning a little after 11am, taking Line Honours in the One Circular Quay Audi Centre Sydney BWPS Cabbage Tree Island Race. Unfortunately for Law Connect, which was powering towards the Heads almost in sight of Comanche through the rain, the breeze clocked left into the northwest and died in between the Heads, leaving Law Connect having to tack to round South Head. And yes, that is Crosbie in the video trying to take photos in the rain with an umbrella up!
