I'm helping a wonderful couple sail their boat from Baltimore to Ft Lauderdale. We've had a few issues, but thankfully, we've been able to remedy them quickly. We lost the prop upon docking in Charleston, and the main sail ripped while underway. Unfortunately, the main cannot be repaired, so it will reduce our stability, but since we'll be sailing downwind, it's not a dealbreaker. Timing is everything when the left hand side of the beat is favoured. Black flag was up which created a bigger sag in the centre of the line. Timing the run to the pin allowed us to force the trailing boats into a down speed tack, a loose cover to windward and off to the top mark in a tight race. The team at bottom up boats hope you are enjoying the short clips from the 2025 racing season.
