I'm helping a wonderful couple sail their boat from Baltimore to Ft Lauderdale. We've had a few issues, but thankfully, we've been able to remedy them quickly. We lost the prop upon docking in Charleston, and the main sail ripped while underway. Unfortunately, the main cannot be repaired, so it will reduce our stability, but since we'll be sailing downwind, it's not a dealbreaker. We love to go sail our boat, so even when we're in Catalina Island secure at a mooring, we still like to drop the mooring from time to time and go for a sail! Especially on evenings as beautiful as this one.
