I'm helping a wonderful couple sail their boat from Baltimore to Ft Lauderdale. We've had a few issues, but thankfully, we've been able to remedy them quickly. We lost the prop upon docking in Charleston, and the main sail ripped while underway. Unfortunately, the main cannot be repaired, so it will reduce our stability, but since we'll be sailing downwind, it's not a dealbreaker. We anchored for a week, taking daily dinghy rides in, to hike Monument Beach. We did a trash clean up and beach walk one day, hiked the face of the cliff side another and soaked in all the sun!! One of the best more relaxing days we've had sailing in the Bahamas!
