I'm helping a wonderful couple sail their boat from Baltimore to Ft Lauderdale. We've had a few issues, but thankfully, we've been able to remedy them quickly. We lost the prop upon docking in Charleston, and the main sail ripped while underway. Unfortunately, the main cannot be repaired, so it will reduce our stability, but since we'll be sailing downwind, it's not a dealbreaker. Watched the fog roll off the summits here for a good thirty minutes. This was late April and truly enjoyed looking out over the hillsides to see green trees starting to fill in. As with Georgia, North Carolina and Tennessee had been sparse with tree cover. I had started to worry about sunburn.
