What started as a simple solo wild camp adventure, with my family waiting for me back on shore, quickly spiralled into one of the most difficult trips Iâve ever filmed. The plan was simple: head off alone, catch dinner, soak in the wilderness, and return to share it with the ones I love. But nature had other ideasâĻ From missed catches to gear failures, it became clear this trip wasnât going to plan. But nothing prepared me for what would happen after I got back to shore. Sometimes an adventure doesnât test your gear â it tests your heart.
