It's really not the ideal conditions to cross open ocean - it really isn't - 30 to 40 knots of wind and a 4 to 5 metre swell which is throwing us around like a cork... but it's time to suck it up and take it on. We left in a rush and knew we had two days of heavy going before we could settle in. Ahead of us are more than 700 nautical miles of endless angry ocean, and it's just the two of us. Happy honeymoon!
