Trapped by floods as we try to leave the Thames! #89

Getting up early to pass through Teddington Lock and into the tidal Thames we thought the high water levels were due to the autumn equinox and that we’d soon be through Thames Lock at Brentford and onto the Grand Union Canal. After a handbrake turn to get out of the flow of the River we arrived at Thames Lock to be told by the Lock Keeper that flooding meant we couldn’t go further and we were trapped! #followintrepidbear #canallife #inlandwaterways #canalboatlife #canalboat #boatlife #lifeonthewater
