Sailing Solo to Emerald Bay (Dec 2021)

In this episode, we solo sail from San Pedro, CA to Emerald Bay, Catalina Island. Winds and seas are mostly calm, so we motor sail to our destination. Emerald Bay has a mooring field and a small anchorage behind Indian Rock. It can be a bit rolly at the anchorage and some have reported that holding is less than ideal. We drop a single hook in about 48 feet of water. There were no other boats in the anchorage except for a fishing boat which anchored for a couple of ours at a 150 meters distance from us.
