Then it's heads-down into the catamaran's electrical system to install dual-color LED bulbs that flip from white to red for night navigation with a simple on-off-on trick (turns out the instructions matter after all). We also tackle the Furuno chartplotter mount that's been bugging Max for weeks — cutting a teak panel to cleanly frame the unit at the helm, so it's properly sealed, secured, and actually looks like it belongs there. Jigsaw, oscillating saw (RIP — missing in action), and one very stubborn screw later, it's finally done right.
