Sailing Kemah to New Orleans - Part 4

Part 4 of the sail / cruise with the kids from Houston to New Orleans is up and live. In this episode we show the trip from Morgan city to Houma and also some tips on how to use AIS when running in the ICW. This shows how we use it for calling and identifying ships/barges and how we reduce the "noise" or the number of targets to only show us valuable and useful information. Join us on our journey as we continue to rebuild, refit and prepare our Formosa 51 Sailboat for our continued cruising journey. We have always loved the Formosa, bought one (on a bit of a whim) late in 2014, moved aboard this one right away and started to do our refit while living board.
