Sahara Desert Adventure – Sandstorms, Film Sets, and lots of camels.

Join us as we set off on a 5 day adventure to the Sahara Desert. It was touch and go if the authorities would allow us to be in the desert with 37mph winds and sandstorms forecast, but they did, and we experienced everything the desert could throw at us. It even rained, which is pretty unusual, being 13 years since this kind of rain had passed through before. Lessons were learned, one being don’t plan to spend any more than 1 hour maximum on the back of a camel, it is uncomfortable, painful, and definitely not a lot of fun! There is a reason the Bedouins only use these animals for transporting loads!
