Pure Sailing TBT #1 | F18 World Championship 2015 | Hobie Wildcat Onboard | Part 1

Throwback Thursday: Back in 2015 we competed at the Formula 18 World Championship in Kiel. Looking at this old footage there's so much I want to say to my older me. So much I know now what would have been very helpful back then. The thing is, back then I thought we where decent sailors and a few month ago on the foiling Nacra 17 I thought we are very bad sailors. Sometimes it is necessary to travel back in time to see how much has changed and how much you have learned. Anyway, here are a few tipps to my older me: 1. You need more speed! Let the boat run. First speed and then slowly start to point up. You will sail the same angles but much faster. 2. Improve your standing position. 3.
