Preparing for Solo Sailing Atlantic Crossing | Evening Watch aboard S/V Osprey with The Mariner

Welcome aboard Osprey. It’s evening watch here in Cherbourg, Normandy, and tonight we’re continuing the steady work of preparing the boat for sea. In this livestream we’ll be working around the navigation area, installing and organizing the fuel transfer pump manifold, bolting down the heads and finishing a number of small but important jobs around the boat. These are the kinds of details that make a vessel ready for the ocean. The goal is simple: within the next week, depart Cherbourg and sail solo across the Atlantic as a qualifying passage for the Global Solo Challenge.
