Maltese Falcon- the ultimate sailing yacht- Trans-Atlantic Race start

MALTESE FALCON- the ultimate sailing yacht- sailing the 2011 Trans-Atlantic Race starting in Newport, RI. The ultimate in luxury sailing- "MF" at 289 feet and 1,100 tons- nails the start of the race- tacking in about 2 minutes and starting at starboard end of line less than a minute after the starting gun! Amazing maneuver- good on ya Chris- the captain! :) Her primary class competition in the "Open Class" is the Gunboat 66 called PHAEDO- the Lamborghini burnt orange catamaran with black carbon sails seen maneuvering around MF as she approaches the start-- a "monster" game of "cat & mouse"!!
