Kamo High School and Okaihau College go sailing!

We extend our sincere thanks to the George Hansen Estate for their generous support. Thanks to their funding, students and teachers from Kamo High School and Okaihau College were able to embark on an unforgettable sailing voyage. Kamo High School journeyed from Port Nikau in Whangārei Harbour to Ōpua, while Okaihau College explored the stunning Bay of Islands. Along the way, students experienced life aboard a sailing vessel, learned the ropes (literally!), and connected with Aotearoa’s rich maritime heritage.
