Getting Ready To Sail To Alaska - Ep. 112 RAN Sailing

The summer is slowly starting in Alaska and we're getting ready to set sail from Hawaii as soon as the weather improves. While waiting we install a new heater which will be needed up north. We also visit John and Amanda from 48 North aboard their Hallberg Rassy 46, Mahina Tiare. Provisioning is being done and we enjoy our last evening at Waikiki beach and soak in the warm sun and tropical weather. We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat RAN, a custom built Beason 40 in aluminium, untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter and started to sail south along the coast of Europe. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds take us.
