Ep19(edited) | Our first attempt at crossing the Bay of Biscay

October 9-15, 2020 We attempt to cross the Bay of Biscay from Lezardrieux in the middle of the autumn season when conditions are not ideal - at least not for the first 50nm or so. We attempt to endure crashing waves and wind against us for 30hrs in order to catch a weather window over the Bay of Biscay. We were inspired by the news we heard of a Norwegian couple heading out to cross the Bay from Roscoff, a little west of us. See how far we make it!
