Ep 47 Best Sail of the Season, Seven knots of Pure Joy!

We set sail from Padstow and head back towards Cardiff. The skipper is back on board and planning passages, leaving me to enjoy helming and keeping watch. This is my happy place as I do get a bit seasick down below when we are on passage. Seagull is sailing like a dream with her new copper bottom and at one point we manage 8 knots under sail, making us both extremely happy. Our new Rocna anchor is put to the test, and we could not be happier with the result. It sets very easily and held fast in F5 offshore breeze. We both slept well and we will definitely be anchoring out a lot more next season and enjoying life on the hook. Thanks again for watching our videos.
