Does this dolphins neck need help? (Read description)
Update #2: Agatha from the Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission called me after I reported on their website (thanks Barbara Kaminsky Whitbread for the info) and was happy to see the video I sent, of the dolphin they helped just last week! Theyโre still looking for a baby in distress, though ๐ฅบ _____ Update: saw a Fish and Wildlife Commission officer on his boat talking to other boaters so I waved him and told him about the situation. He said he saw the pod of dolphins hanging out exactly where I saw them and heโs going to go check on the injured one. ๐๐ผ โโโโโโ- Amidst a breathtaking experience with dolphins ๐ฌ swimming around the boat as I approach the anchorage where Iโll catch (if it doesnโt rain) the Space X launch ๐ tomorrow (and wait for the wind to turn in my favor, on Monday), about halfway through this video I notice something around one of the dolphins neck. As I made the turn to anchor off of the channel, they didnโt follow me, but Iโm hoping to see them later and get a closer look. What do you think? From what I can tell something restricted his neck but itโs no longer there and what we see is a scar. Ugh poor thing ๐ฃ #dolphins #CapeCanaveral #ICW #bananariver #oceantrash
