Diving in Sipadan, Malaysia in 4K. A true diver's paradise in Borneo, with Scuba Junkie

Sipadan in Malaysia, Borneo is ranked consistently in the top 10 dive sites of the world. Originally popularized by famed sea-explorer Jacques Cousteau, Sipadan is undoubtedly one of the premiere dive destinations in the world. Located in the Celebes Sea off the east coast of Sabah, Sipadan was formed over thousands of years as living corals grew on top of an extinct volcano. The residential schooling barracuda and big-eye trevally are a couple of the highlights we saw, as well as large schools of enormous bump head parrotfish. Everywhere you look there are turtles, sharks and pristine hard and soft corals. I had the opportunity to spend more than a week diving in Sipadan with Scuba Junkie and I can highly recommend it! The team was amazing, the accommodation and food were great, and so were all the divers I met during this intensive week. Thanks to all for this experience I will never forget.
