Explore More! https://www.instagram.com/betweensunandsea & Please SUBSCRIBE: https://www.youtube.com/c/betweensunandsea As soon as we pulled anchor in the Dominican Republic, Murphy's law came out to play and we snagged a semi-submersed mooring line that wrapped around our prop shaft and completely shut down the motor! Once we fixed that and headed offshore our buddy boat's chain plate ripped through the deck and he had to drop sail! Not the best start to the next week of sailing the North shore of the Dominican Republic... BUT-we did also see an amazingly playful pod of dolphins that came out just in time with the sunshine!. & thankfully we continued sailing across smooth seas the whole way across the Mona Passage. We also caught a fish, finally! Alls well that ends well, and let's just say there was a very happy ending waiting for us in Puerto Rico!
