Closing up the holes in our boat | Episode 179 Recently we sailed to the boatyard to get hauled out here in Curacao. It’s been 2 years since we had Saoirse out of the water, so we got to work right away looking into things that needed to be fixed. But once we started digging, we actually found something we were not expecting. Water in our keel. Fast forward through a bunch of drilling, grinding and sanding and now we need to get to work on closing up these big holes in our hull. This is turning out to be one of the biggest projects we’ve ever done on this boat.
