This is the second video in our two-part Christmas series, where we take time out to bring you up to date with our sailing journey. Some of our family have arrived on the Island of Crete to spend Christmas with us after their flights home to South Africa were cancelled due to Covid red-listing. Our friends, Maryke and Nick, also had their flights to SA cancelled. They join us as we celebrate together in true South African style, with a braai (barbecue) on the beach on Christmas Eve. There are family members missing from our celebrations, and they are greatly missed. We are grateful for our health and for the love of friends and family on this glorious Christmas Eve. Kathy gets stung by jellyfish after a daring swim in the chilly sea.
