However, our wait for a great weather window worked out so well because when we crossed the Mona Passage and sailed to Puerto Rico it was probably the flattest Mona Passage passage possible! Also, once we tacked off the Dominican Republic we were able to sail pretty much the whole entire way which was absolutely awesome after all the monitoring we have been doing along the Dominican Republic Coast.
