We had been waiting for easterlies for a while but they never came. So we decided to go under engine from Newtown Creek to Studland. Going through The Needles with wind over tide wasn't an easy task and we think that we learnt the lesson... The stitching came undone on the head of the sail and we had to take it down to repair it.
