They allow you to transport a luxury experience to a remote place and enjoy yourself. That's the best way I can describe a Riv and particularly this 58 SMY with her multiple levels. The remnants of an offshore hurricane presented the perfect opportunity to go sailing offshore in the Bay of Biscay, off Les Sables d'Ollone, France. A mixed doublehanded team (reflecting the Paris 20204 Olympic Games new offshore event) took to the big seas (8-12 footers) and big breeze (20 to 30+ knots) to push the J/99 to its limits.
